David & Shelby’s Grand Bankquet Hall Wedding Video in Vincennes, IN
David, the groom, lost it when he saw his beautiful bride Shelby for the first time in their fairytale Bankquet Hall wedding video in Vincennes, IN. Let's be honest, though. David was emotional the whole day. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and Shelby loves him for that.
The couple met through a mutual friend - Allie. Allie told Shelby there is a new guy at the firehouse. According to David, Shelby was interested because she thought he was 'super hot.' She claims the truth is different. The fact is yet to be revealed but what we do know is that the relationship heated up to the point we are at today.
Shelby and David are proud locals in Vincennes, Indiana so it only made sense to make it the backdrop for their wedding day. The bridal prep and reception took place at The Bankquet Hall, and the ceremony was held a block away at First Christian Church. The proximity made for a relaxed morning.
We chose the banquet hall because of location and how beautiful it is without doing a lot of decorating.

The day was building up to two significant moments; the first look and the procession. David's nerves started kicking in as the clock ticked closer and closer. During the interview, you can hear him saying with a tender heart, "this is where the nerves kick in."
Then the moment happened. The 'fairytale' moment Shelby had dreamed of since she was a little girl. She slowly walked down the aisle with her father's tender embrace. Standing were all the people who made her who is she. The mother filled with tears looking up the aisle. The family that's known her since she could barely talk. The friends who have been through thick and thin. Finally, her soon-to-be husband gazing so lovingly at her. Everyone looked back and forth between the radiant face of Shelby and the emotion-filled face of David.
Amazing! It felt so special to see how many people were there supporting David and I. I remember thinking all my dreams were coming true.

Before they knew it, the officiant said, "David, you may kiss the bride." Cheers followed along with the exit of the church. In front of them laid a future together. A future backed by strong families.
Shelby's father put it best when he said
"Our family is the best team we could ever have. David, we love you and are so happy to welcome you to the team. And, thank you, God, for our team. And now that you're beginning your own team, I hope that each of you still come through the front door without knocking. I hope that you will head to the kitchen for a snack and slump on the sofa to watch TV. I hope to come in and feel the weight of adulthood leave for you are home. The door will forever be open to each of you with unconditional love."
