The Full Ceremony Edit is an edit, including the full duration of your wedding ceremony, the procession, vows, and exit. The edit will be included in your online deliverable.

The "Full Ceremony Edit" allows you to sit back and take in the entirety of the ceremony; your father walking you down the aisle, the flower girl goofing off with her dress or the way your husband looked you in the eyes during the vows.

We try to include your guests entering into the wedding as well. To see your grandparents mingling, kids goofing off, and your aunt's trendy clothes in ten or twenty years will be priceless and hilarious. The word "try" is there because sometime's the bridal prep runs overtime. Our first priority is making sure the gear is set up to capture moments like your walk down the aisle and groom's reaction.

The "Full Ceremony Edit" may not be for the person who gets bored quickly. The ceremony can run long, and some sites claim that you will never watch it. While that may be true, we believe it is a staple for any wedding collection and provide it as an option for all our couples.

Do you “mic” up the groom?

A common question on wedding blogs is, "Will you mic up the groom?" Yes, absolutely. We also mic up the officiant, speaking platform and try our best to hook into the audio system at the venue to provide the clearest possible audio. If your videographer is not doing that, it should be a red flag. The vows will be muffled, and it is a sign they have not invested in the most basic requirements to serve you.

FAQ’s

If I don't select "Full Ceremony Edit," will you still record the Wedding Ceremony?

Yes, 100%. We will film the ceremony the same way regardless of the "Full Ceremony Edit." The difference is the deliverable you will receive through your online showcase or USB option. If your collection does not include the "Full Ceremony Edit," we will not make the edit unless notified otherwise.

If I don't have the "Full Ceremony Edit," can I add it after the wedding?

Yes, you can add the "Full Ceremony Edit" from our Ala Carte options after the wedding. It is more affordable to select a collection that includes the edit, but the choice is always there.

When is the latest I can add the "Full Ceremony Edit"?

Journey Home Films is only liable to keep your footage protected until we have delivered your collection. We would recommend adding any edits in the weeks before the delivery of your collection. If you would like to hold onto your media files longer and potentially have us create more edits, then we would recommend looking at the "What is RAW Footage?" post.
