I Didn't Believe in Love Until I Met You | Intimate Backyard Wedding | Terre Haute Indiana
Wasn’t Searching for Love
In 2016 Caleb wasn't searching for love; he wasn't expecting or accepting of another love in his life." With the swipe of a finger, that all changed. This strong-willed, driven girl named Kierra notified Caleb through Tinder's app that she was interested in him. On the first date, Caleb said he loved her.
The Wedding Day
Before and throughout the wedding day, Kierra and Caleb's love was tested. Before, with the changing of the plans twice due to a pandemic and other issues. Then the day of, 20 days into a drought, and five hours before the wedding. The weather forecast changed to a 90% chance of rain at 8:00—at the same time as their wedding.
If the ceremony remained outdoors, the guest would get soaked. Kierra, being Kierra, said, "How bohemian is that? dancing in the rain on my wedding day!" Clouds of re-assuring "it's going to be alright," echoed the home. Honestly, the two would have been alright if it did rain. (Okay, Caleb did need a moment to take it in) But they knew their love was greater than any chance of rain, a hot day, or and minor "mess-up."
As spontaneously as they met, the rain turned into the sun. Kierra and Caleb stood in front of their closest friends and family and sealed their marriage. Kierra's brother helping officiate the wedding, saying, "Introducing for the first time Mr. and Mrs. Jones." In typical Kierra fashion, she interjected the cheering to announce, "We may have forgotten the rings, but we're married!"
That's Kierra and Caleb; joyful, accepting, humorous, and loving as they manifest their life together. It was an honor to receive the invitation to document their special day

The Film
The song in Caleb & Kierra's film is named "Part of Me" by By the Coast. There isn't a song more fitting. Sometimes a song chooses a couple; this was the case for these two. Here are two excerpts from their vows:
(Caleb) The universe brought us together. It gave me a reason. It gave me life. It gave me you.
(Kierra) Becoming yours has made me a better version of myself. I fully believe the universe had immense plans for us together.
You can see it in their eyes. These two are one, and they complement each other so well.
